Method 2. Check the Data Balance on Your Device

The first thing you will want to check is if you have any data balance available on your SIM card. Many times it happens that you use-up all the data balance available on your SIM card and then you cannot access the Internet. Without an active data balance with your provider, you will not be able to access the Internet and as a result, your hotspot will not work either.

One of the best ways to find out details about your data balance is to call your provider's customer center number and let them help you out with the matter.

Method 3. Wipe Data on the Cache Partition

The cache partition on your device is where all the cache, also known as temporary files are stored. As you install more and more apps on your device, this partition gets bigger and bigger. There comes a time when all of these temp files start to interfere with other parts of your device.

If that is the case, the best thing you can do to fix the issue is to wipe off all the data stored on your cache partition. Doing so will resolve the hotspot issue you are currently facing on your device.

Saving Mode on Your Device Battery saving is one of the features you have on your device that minimizes resource usage and helps you save battery on your device. Many times when this option is enabled on your device, it interferes with the workings of the hotspot feature. Therefore, it is recommended that you turn this feature off when you use the hotspot on your device.

  • First, you can head to the Settings on your Android device.

  • Then, fins the Apps and choose the program you would like to get rid of.

  • Click the Uninstall on the screen and then the program will be removed from your device.

Method 7. Update the Android OS Version on Your Device
